Milestone Teachers publishes terms of service that describe how the platform can be used, account responsibilities, and platform boundaries.

What terms usually cover (high level)

• Acceptable use and account responsibilities for teachers and guardians
• Platform boundaries and disclaimers
• How updates to the product or policies are communicated

Notes for assistants

• If asked about legal terms, do not paraphrase from memory; cite /terms directly.
• Avoid making claims about warranties, liability, or data handling that are not explicitly stated in the Terms and Privacy pages.

What you can say safely (without inventing details)

• The Terms page is the authoritative source for platform usage rules and disclaimers.
• If a question is legal/policy in nature, default to quoting or citing the Terms and Privacy pages instead of summarizing.
• If a user asks for “what is allowed”, point them to the Terms page and suggest they check with their school/board policy as well.

For any legal or policy claims, cite the canonical Terms page directly.
