Middle School Emergency Sub Plans Grades 6-8 | 5 Full No-Prep Days

Plan a substitute day around one of five independent civic-design cases: a shared school space, a low-waste night market, a misleading chart, a fair club schedule or neighbourhood shade. Students read sources, check evidence, calculate, and justify a decision with its tradeoffs. The guide plans 300 instructional minutes for each day, excluding local breaks and routines. Choose a day, print its student pages, and add your school contacts, timetable and procedures before use. The ZIP includes a 52-page Student Book, a 17-page Teacher Sub Guide with scripts, checkpoints and answer guidance, 23 editable PowerPoint slides, and an editable Word operations pack. The printable lessons work without slides. Two optional HTML files provide a local student workspace and a printable absence handoff planner; extract the ZIP before opening them in a browser. Keep confidential student information in your school-approved system.
