Teaching Rooms: look inside a teaching resource before you choose
Short answer. A Teaching Room is an interactive preview of one real resource. You see actual pages, what is included in the resource, and what the preview does not establish. There are three rooms: a primary science fair-test mystery, a Grades 4-6 reading resource on evidence and inference, and a Grades 4-6 fractions diagnostic. Each links to its product page.
The three rooms
- Science: "What else changed?" Enter a fair-test mystery and inspect a learner page, a second case and the editable plan checker included in the resource Plant Detectives: The Case of the Tall Seedling (NSW Stage 2 fair tests).
- Reading: "Which detail changes your reading?" Read a complete public sample passage and inspect its two questions, then see how the included materials support a teacher's next decision (Diagnostic Reading Assessment Grades 4-6).
- Mathematics: "The same fraction. Of what whole?" Follow one actual diagnose, teach, re-check sequence from the Fraction Diagnostic & Repair Lab.
What each room shows
Each room shows selected real pages with captions, a list of what the resource includes (for example printable PDFs, editable slides or workbooks), and the resource's stated limits. Each room also has a short planning routine written for the preview; it is a newly authored sample, not a copy of the resource.
What the preview does not establish
The rooms do not establish efficacy, diagnostic validity, curriculum completeness or learner outcomes. Screen-reader behaviour, tagged-PDF status, translation support and assistive-technology compatibility are unverified.
Honest limits
- A preview of selected pages, not the whole resource and not a validated assessment.
- The rooms do not establish efficacy, diagnostic validity, curriculum completeness or learner outcomes.
- Accessibility features such as screen-reader behaviour and tagged PDFs are unverified for the previewed resources.
