The 2016 frames became four strands. What is new in language, mathematics, coding and inquiry, how the 25 overall expectations are organized, and a way to plan September to June.

Four clusters became five strands. The 17 Scientific Knowledge outcomes in three topic groups (forces and energy; Earth, Moon and Sun; heredity, diversity and fossils), quoted in full, with a ten-month plan.

The all-year expectations, three skill ladders with the month each step starts, and October worked in full: every code it introduces, why in that order, and the centres placed there.
